About Margaret
Having recruited for a number of international organizations across Europe, I have noticed that a lot of people, even those with a lot of experience, struggle with interview performance and 'selling' themselves effectively. I have decided to use my extensive experience in recruiting and interviewing in order to help others learn how to play to their strengths and counter their weaknesses during job interviews.
HR and other managers today are continually asking for detailed examples of your past performance. They assume that you will do as well (or as poorly) in the new job as you did in the old one, so providing positive examples of your previous experience is critical. Therefore, you need to examine your past performance in a way that will empower you to handle these questions in a professional and competent manner. This is where I can help.
I have extensive experience of interviewing professionals at all levels, from students to senior executives across a number of industries, both in the private and public sectors.
Upon graduating with a Master's Degree in Marketing & Management, I have worked in media and banking sector, before moving into recruitment.
I have recruited for a variety of roles across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for leading organizations in the networking & infrastructure, storage management and software space, and I am currently managing recruitment in Southern Europe and the UK for a global US software vendor.
I am also a qualified Personal Performance Coach, as well as Corporate & Executive Coach, and apart from working with you on your interview technique, I can help you with developing confidence and the 'winning' attitude that will make it easier for you to get any job you want!
Interviewers can throw a series of difficult questions at you and try to catch you out. I will provide specific advice to help you prepare for and deal with these difficult to answer questions.
During 1-to-1 interview coaching session, I will work with you to make sure that you are sending the "right" message about what you have to offer, as well as help you in structuring your answers to competency-based questions. You and I will work on a strategy to show the interviewer that you are the best person for the job!
My motto is
Practice=Self-Confidence=Successful
Interviewing=Job Offers

Testimonials
"Margaret’s coaching was tremendously helpful. She switched straight from a relaxed discussion about what I felt I needed from coaching, and the demands of the job I was going for, into a really testing interview. I was amazed at how real she made it feel. The experience gave me some solid areas on which I had to improve and prepare for forthcoming interviews. I now have the perfect new job."
Helen Beioley, Director of Development and Public Affairs
"I just wanted to let you know that I did get the job I applied for, and am starting next month. Thank you very much for your help with the interview preparation. It was extremely helpful to practice answering questions - you gave me some really useful feedback and I felt so much more confident and prepared, especially after the second session."
Manager, PricewaterhouseCoopers

"In my personal life, I am a self-expressed confident person but as soon as I set foot in an interview or other (potentially stressful) professional situation, I would fall apart. I would get nervous, lose the ability to listen and comprehend what was being said, constantly be thinking about what I would say next and then forget what I wanted to say. It was a nightmare!
But things meaningfully improved for me after a few sessions with Margaret. Margaret was not only a great practice partner and coach but she also helped me see how other people see me. And much to my surprise, I actually come off pretty well!
I would not have been able to land my dream job as a consultant at a Fortune 500 firm without her. Definitely, one of the best investments I have ever made!"
