My approach is to tailor the session to suit your objectives and help you succeed at interviews. Through working closely with you I will help you to build your confidence and conviction and to generate more enthusiasm and energy during the interview.

I will help you to unlock your potential which ultimately will result in a powerful interview performance.

A mock interview can test your interview performance and identify your strengths and weaknesses. You will learn how to play to your strengths and counter your weaknesses.

What does a one-to-one session involve?

We will have an initial 5-15 minutes telephone conversation. I will answer questions that you might have, find out more about your previous interview experiences and then we will jointly make an initial assessment of which areas we should focus on in the one-to-one coaching session.

After the assessment, I will create a one-to-one bespoke interview skills training programme to achieve your objectives.

At this point you will need to decide if you want to go ahead with the training. There is no charge for this initial telephone consultation.

All sessions last 1.5 or 2 hours and are tailor-made to your needs.

I will first put you through an interview by asking you a series of probing questions just as a real interviewer would, to test your interview technique and assess your weaknesses accurately.

After the mock interview, I will provide you with feedback on your interview performance and help you identify your strong and weak points, so that you can play to your strengths and counter your weaknesses.

I will then help you structure your interview answers so that they present your skills, experience and personality in the best possible light. If you have any specific problems, such as being considered too old, too young, over/under qualified, changing a career, returning to work after redundancy/unemployment/ sickness, etc.), I can help you overcome them.

If necessary, I will address body language issues, and answer any questions that you might have.

All coaching sessions include free follow up by email for 8 or 12 weeks after the session.

Prior to commencing our session, I will need to review your up-to-date CV.

In addition I will send you a brief questionnaire to be completed and returned to me – in this you can outline any job that you specifically want to prepare for, any particular problem areas that you have and any other information that you feel is relevant.
